We pride ourselves on being able to uphold our 9's with the best of them and to give our customers the experience that they deserve. Changing brands of switches wasn't on the top of the list of things that we were planning to do this year. While most smaller hosting setups are quite fine with switches that don't have the full feature set we decided that we were not going to be one of those. The Quanta branded switches that we've been using worked very well for us and have caused no downtime, but technology always is moving forward and the Arista switches have the performance and the feature set that would fit right in our setup for N+1. We've also been testing a new all SSD based distributed storage system which we also put into production on May 31st. This new system is designed to help us overcome the IOP limitation on our current storage platform and also allow for a better data protection plan for those customers that require more performance and redundancy than our 2nd gen storage system
